My oldest daughter Ali fell in love with a BBQ chicken pizza while at college in Idaho. She came home swearing she loved BBQ chicken pizza but was never happy with any of the versions we ordered from the pizza chains. After a little research, she discovered that the one she likes uses ranch dressing as the sauce NOT BBQ sauce. BIG difference. This is a simple version she created for us that was DE-LI-CIOUS!
Let's Get Started!
Ingredients
1 roll of refrigerated pillsbury pizza dough
2 c. bag of mozzarella cheese
1 c. diced, grilled chicken (we just used some leftovers from dinner the night before)
1/3 - 1/2 c. thinnly sliced red onion
1/2 c. ranch dressing (we like homemade hidden valley ranch using Kraft mayo)
Kraft original BBQ sauce for drizzle (any sweet, molasses-based) Kansas City style sauce works)
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Spread dough on greased cookie sheet and pre-bake for 8 mins.
Spread ranch dressing on warm crust - get out to the edges.
Sprinkle on cheese and spread to the edges
Sprinkle on chicken and onions
Bake for 8 mins (or longer, until the light, golden brown and some light browing on the cheese)
Remove from oven and drizzle with BBQ sauce.
Enjoy!

SO Good!
