Let's get started!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cake:
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. (1 cube) melted butter
Topping:
1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. cinnamon
Glaze:
2 Tbsp. softened butter
2 c. powdered sugar
4-5 Tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla (or almond extract - this is Becky's preference)
Directions:
Preheat over to 350 degrees.
Spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Set aside
Mix all "cake" ingredients together in a large bowl.
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients for the "topping."
Pour cake mixture into greased 9x13 pan.
Drop spoonfuls of topping on the cake batter in pan and swirl with a knife.
Bake for 30-35 minutes.
While cake is baking, mix together glaze.
Pour the desired amount of glaze over warm cake.
Eat while warm. Yum!
