INGREDIENTS:
1 Pillsbury Pizza Crust Roll (or homemade dough)
Garlic Salt
Cooking spray
1 small can tomato sauce (get the kind that has seasonings in it, like garlic and oregano) OR some spaghetti sauce
1 roma tomato
2 cups mozzarella cheese
Fresh or dried basil
DIRECTIONS:
Heat oven to 400. Spray cooking sheet. Spread our pizza dough. Spray top of pizza dough with cooking spray. Sprinkle with garlic salt. Bake in oven for 8 minutes. While in oven, slice tomato thinly. And chop up fresh basil, if using that. Set aside.
Pull out of oven and spread on tomato or spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle 1 cup of cheese. Place down tomato slices, then add remaining cheese. Put back into the oven until cheese is melted (about 5 minutes). Once it’s out, sprinkle with fresh or dried basil.
Let sit for 5 minutes before cutting. Then cut and enjoy.
