Let’s get started!
Instructions
STEP ONE
In a large bowl or mixer, add water. Sprinkle yeast on top. Don‘t stir, then sprinkle sugar on top to make the yeast sink. Don’t story but let sit for 5-10 minutes until yeast begins to bubble.
1/2 c warm water
1 Tbsp yeast
2 Tbsp Sugar
STEP TWO Add the following to the yeast mixture and stir.
3/4 c. milk (I use 1% milk)
1/4 c margarine, melted
2 large eggs, mixed
1/4 c sugar 2 Tbsp honey
STEP THREE
Add the following and stir.
3 c. white flour
1 tsp salt
STEP FOUR
Add and stir/knead until pulling from the edge of bowl but sticky enough it might stick to your hands.
3 to 3 1/2 cup
STEP FIVE
Let dough rise in covered bowl until double in size (about an hour).
Divide into 20 equally pieces.
Roll into balls and place on greased cookie sheet.
Cover and let rise for 2-3 hours (or until double in size).
Preheat oven to 360 (350 is fine if your oven won’t do the other).
Spray tops heavily with cooking spray and bake on center oven rack for 15 mins (may need to flip in oven half way for even browning).
Done when medium to dark golden brown.
