Dark Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter (1 cube)

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 1/4 c. white sugar

  • 1/2 c. brown sugar

  • 1 tsp. vanilla

  • 1/3 c. Hershey’s special DARK cocoa

  • 2/3 c. flour

  • 1/4 tsp. baking POWDER

  • 1/4 tsp. salt


Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Melt butter in large microwave safe bowl for 45 seconds (that would be a plastic popcorn bowl, my kids).

  3. Add white and brown sugars, vanilla and eggs.

  4. Whisk together until combine.

  5. Add flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.

  6. Whisk together just until all the dry ingredients are wet (make sure there are no pockets of dry stuff at the bottom of the bowl.

  7. Add to square 8x8 pan, that has been sprayed with cooking spray.

  8. Bake for 25-30 mins (or until knife comes out clean)
