Sometimes you need a fruit salad that requires almost no effort on your part. This is that salad. It's not your fancy, impress the relatives' salad. This is an "I have five minutes and need something the kids will actually eat" salad. Enjoy.
Let's Get Started!
Ingredients:
1 pint of frozen strawberries
*1 can of mandarin oranges in light syrup of 100% juice
2 bananas
2 cups of grapes
1/2 c. vanilla yogurt (or 1 single-serving yogurt cup)
Left frozen strawberries defrost (pull them out onto the counter at lunchtime and they'll be defrosted by dinner. Or microwave them for 2 minutes, if you’re in a rush). Drain off most of the strawberry juice. Add to large bowl. Drain mandarin oranges. Add to bowl with strawberries. Slice bananas into the bowl. Add grapes. Add yogurt and toss together.
*Diced canned peaches can replace mandarin oranges, if preferred.
